What the freak does Clayton Richard have to do with how Peavy is doing in Chicago?

He was requested by the Padres because they know he has good talent.

Just because he's 26 doesn't mean he's a bum.

You really need to go look at the career arch of the average player. The prime of their career is 28-32.

Richard is still two years away from being at the peak of his career.

I know that jives with your 'over 25 and you suck' attitude... but really, Richard is nowhere close to being a bum.
That's laughable. How many pitchers develop at the age of 30?

You know whether they are worth a damn or not by the time they are 25 or so. Sometimes earlier.

Richard is average. #5 pitcher on a good team.
