while on the topic of donuts, be on the lookout for Migue's Magnificent Mini Donuts.  He is at Eastern Market on Sundays (maybe sat now too). Was at the Downtown Holiday Market before xmas.  He rattled off a bunch of places where he vends. Outdoor market vendor. Not a store.

They are made right there on this awesome little floating fryer/conveyor.

Great for a cold weather snack with hot chocolate.

Its probably my number two favorite food

I don't even know where to begin with this one.

The problem is, the second or third thing that came up was just, "Boy I really like sauerkraut."

Does he have rotkraut?

Rotkraut is the sweet red kraut, right?

No, he only sells the one. But it's killer especially if you team it with the all-beef hot dogs from Canales.

MONTGOMERY DONUTS LIVES?  REALLY?!  AWW MAN!  I used to live not far from the Montgomery Donuts at Wildwood Shopping Center.  Anyone who needed donuts early went there:  cab drivers, highschool students, people who were running early for a Dr. Appt (did I say that out loud?  ;)  ).  Now its an Elizabeth Arden spa.  All the old businesses that used to be there are gone  :( .  I got my bike at the bike shop.  Necessities at People's (OOPS, now CVS) Drug store, Donuts at Montgomery, subs at Sutton Gormet (formerly Grand Union).  Those were the days!

Yeah. They have it in jars at Wegman's but that's not as good as the fresh stuff.

No, a high school senior we had on the trip.  Snowboarding, had just finished shooting a bunch of video of various stunts with a couple more scouts/friends, and were headed down when they saw some little moguls they thought might be fun to try.  He lost his balance upon landing, wiped out and was sliding towards a tree, tried to fend off the tree with his leg but evidently locked his knee, and the impact snapped his femur.  He went by ambulance to a Garrett Co. Md. orthapaedic hospital and was operated on within a couple of hours.

He's had the Nick Johnson treatment now, with the rod inserted to hold everything back in alignment.

Me, I've had nothing that a little Wild Turkey won't soothe, what with it being a dry weekend for me.

I'm going to apply for a Fed job in downtown Indianapolis where the girlfriend is attending Law School this fall. It'll be a little bit of a raise in pay but I seem very qualified for the job. I'm glad I dug up this old post for the helpful tips, so here goes nothing.
