Surprised they aren't doing an intentional walk to get a force at home.

Burnett = garbage time pitcher. He did this with Pittsburgh and now with us. He's fine except for when the game is on the line.

This isn't going to work.  All of these shenanigans with a runner on third and no outs.  This is all pointless.

I would have rather seen Batista in the game.

This nag can't even throw a strike

So, that's what you call it, Rob.

Alright... now you need to do the intentional walk.

Would be the Nats luck to lose on a wild throw back to the pitcher here.

In this situation, we probably wouldn't score but most teams are more proficient at these things than we are.

This is a rule they should change to speed up the game. Just pitch 1 pitch and give the guy the walk on an Intentional walk situation.

leadoff walks are just so pathetically inexcusable. Pitchers should fined for that BS.

No way.

Two reasons.

One, you never know when a pitch will be bad, get by the catcher or might be close enough to swing.

Two, no matter how little, there is stress put on your arm with every single pitch. You're taking three pitches off the pitchers arm.
