Zimmerman has been struggling all year, but I really think that this is the series that he lights up in a big way.

Another hard hit ball but it's right at Jones. We are hitting the ball hard.

Do you mean the playing surface or the park itself?

I'm talking mostly about the outfield.  it looks a lot smaller on TV than it really is.

Milledge really connects well with balls he zones in on. Hopefully he will explode soon.

You're right. There are lots of tall things that dominate the OF (scoreboards, warehouse). Makes the OF look smaller. Of course, you're used to looking at the relative great open pastures at Nats Park and RFK.

Milledge is never on time for a fastball. Oh well, at least he made Olson throw him a bunch of pitches.

Lots of pitches. Good work boys. We need Hill to shut 'em down here so the bats can get back to work.

yeah, the OF in Nats Park is pretty big, and you can tell when you are watching on TV.  it doesn't really translate as well for Oriole Park.

Maybe it'll work in WMP's favor.

I think almost any at-bat that  you see 6 or more pitches in is a good one. even an out.  Milledge just needs to straighten out those hard-hit foul balls.  hopefully sometime before he turns 30. :(

He's in a big slump - has gone from .280ish to now .236.

However, I like the way we started the game. :)
