Don't know... inflicting 'nad injury? Just thought it was funny.

Smiley version...

Why the hell would you let Mackowiak bat there?

He really does have a sweet swing. I'm defending the guy because I've seen how clutch he has been in the past. He's really not a bad bat off the bench. Just needs to get it going. 10x better hitter than Willie, IMO.

His night wasn't too bad (2 for 5), but I still think he should be moved down in the order.

Should be 1 for 5.  There is no way that one where Uggla threw the ball in the general direction of south should have been called a hit.

I can't believe Zimmerman tried to argue that call. He's had worse called against him.

He didn't exactly argue it.  Not one word.  But facial expression was pretty clear.

Gameday shows it was just a tad inside, but it may have crossed the plate towards the back.  Probably a ball, but very close.

Is it just tonight or an ongoing thing?

Argued it with defiant silence. I thought it was a strike.

He also drew a walk, but many of the Nats batters could have tonight if just a little more patient.

One out to go.

Belliard didn't play. Neither did Colome. And they said Dukes won't be back for 2 more weeks. AZ is not happy tonight

It was most definitely a strike. I don't think he was arguing the call as much as kicking his own ass in his head.

It didn't even look borderline to me, either - no question strike.
