That picture of the angry baby looking like grandpa from the Munsters is hideous.

I agree.  This one is the absolute worst of the worst.

Because he has Eric Mangini syndrome.

Coach well in your first season, sucker a team into thinking you're a genius, and proceed to completely **** everything up the next year.

Go Pats.

Eh, we've had worse losses.  Of course we have played a bit better in recent days and it stings to let this slip away.  At least Balester gets the call tomorrow.  Although I'm expecting a 5.2 ip, 3 er, 5 k, 2 walk performance.

If it's any consolation, George Sherill blew another save tonight. He gave up a solo HR to Olivo tie it up in the top of the 9th. Just about to go to extras.

God we freaking suck ass.  How in the world can we be 1-9 against one team that's barely above .500? I'm at a loss for words. St. Claire should be canned for not being able to provide proper scouting reports on the Marlin hitters (half-joking, half-not). Every single one of their hitters has historically dominated us.

Orr sent down to make room for Balester.

Balester has been giving up boatloads of homers in Columbus. He may give up 5 or 6 to these Marlins tomorrow night. Wouldn't surprise me.

Nieves called bad pitches :?  No seriously, Rauch missed badly on those pitches.

sheesh I really hope we don't end up losing 100 games this year, this team is pretty bad and we've had some worse luck to boot

I don't think Nieves will be here much longer. Now that Lo Duca is back they'll probably consider Nieves expendable.

The way I see it, we SHOULD lose 100+ games w/ our current roster.

Just to get the #1 pick to take Strasburg? Is he that good?

That's on our cheap owners.

I still love Rauch though.  One bad outing.

No, no. That's not what I meant. I was talking about the fact that our current roster is easily the worst in the majors. A team like this is supposed to lose 100+. I wouldn't be saying this if we had at least 4 more of our opening day guys.

But yes, I do think Strasburg is going to be the crap.

one thing was praise worthy tonight...

THE BONA FIDE BEAST HIT HOMER #4!!! Dukes MUSCLED a ball over the left field wall. HIS STRENGTH IS SICKENING!!!! strongest player in baseball, by far.

he's gonna go on a power tear, i say he approaches 20 homers by seasons end.

Oh. You think we are worse than the sorry ass Padres, Rockies, and Mariners? The Rockies are awful and I mean just AWFUL. Helton is a bum. Their rotation is the worst in baseball.

I hope we don't lose 100. We may be bad but I'd prefer if we avoided the huge embarrassment of losing 100 games in 1 season. No team should lose that many games no matter how bad you are.

With our current lineup/rotation, oh hell yeah. I'll have a different answer when/if both Kearns and Zimmerman get back, though.
