I guess they want to end this game and get to the brew as quickly as possible.

God the junk that marmol throws - with that pitch action - no chance he lasts more than a couple of season - that delivery screams OBLIQUE STRAIN

Was losing Guzman that demoralizing to the team that we have accumulated a 1-6 record since he went to the DL?!

I dunno about demoralizing per se ... but his bat is surely missed ...

I think everything was bound to catch up to us. I hate to say it but this month can't end soon enough. I'm ready for the NFL season to get started.

Guzman was replaced by Belliard and Belliard's bench spot was replaced by Jiminez.  So we have returned to the horrifically BAD bench that we had at the beginning of the season.  BTW, Langrerhans has one more homer than Belliard, 13 more walks, and only 4 fewer RBIs, in 69 fewer ABs.  Langerhans has a higher OBP than Belliard, especially since joining the Nationals.

Your schedule sounds rougher than the Nats schedule. I thought you were going to be gone longer.

My girlfriend actually comes back a few days after you leave.

Can we get some runs please?

Good numbers N2P. Very telling stats too. I'm not sold on Belliard myself. I think he's a nice bench/backup player but not much more than that.

Mother Nature starts a Wet T-Shirt Contest.

Somebody tell Carpenter that the Potomac Nationals do NOT play in Potomac, Erica!
They're in Virginia near Woodbridge and Senators2005.
EDIT: They are close to Potomac Mills (the discount price shopping mall), which is probably why they call them "Potomac."  But Potomac itself is the rich part of Montgomery County, Maryland, just outside DC.

Church safe at first on Marmol´s fielding error.

where is that located?

Sorry, I had to leave my desk for a bit... You can find the Avatars (Nats Player Images mostly) Sigs (currently only one) and Watchamacallits (only nats2playoffs QFT for now) here: http://www.softpixelz.com/avatars/

BTW, the link is also in the WNFF toolbar in the Links section.

It was the only one.  Notice how he's looking up at the quote.
Kind of looks like Teddy Roosevelt, who makes the George Washington bobblehead WORTHLESS since the presidential mascot races are completely RIGGED, since Teddy will NEVER be "allowed" to win.
(Image removed from quote.)

Unless he's waiting for September 1st and Teddy Roosevelt bobblehead day?

Man, Zimmerman is really starting to aggravate me. I've supported him whole heartedly all season, but now it's becoming ridiculous.
