Not pretty....but it's only 3 runs guys....it's definitely doable.

Notice how good I am at predicting the future.....horse hockey

and there it goes.. Abreu is just a terrible pitcher and a career minor leaguer.  I'm sick of us carrying all of this dead weight on the team (Bacsik, Abreu, Fick, Nook, etc).  We got rid of Jimenez and Wilson when they weren't producing, what's the difference between them and these guys?

The best part of watching Halladay is the thought that Kasten and Bowden are going to get a pitcher of that caliber for the the Nationals next year.  In the meantime...  GOODBYE!  Home run...

Nationals Zero
Blue Jays 4

Remember, folks, we've become a little spoiled by the Nats' recent success.  There are going to be losses from time to time, and it just looks like Halladay is on a roll.

Air Zimm told us that every other game he's gone to we did terribly. Maybe he should be banned from attending the games in person.

Looks like my 8-1 road trip record prediction is in jeopardy.

He's just soooooo bad.. The few times he can throw a strike the pitch results in either a hanging breaking ball or a meat fastball.  Sutton is ripping on him as well.

Nice catch, Austin.. It's really Winston "Meatball" Abreu's fault though.  I didn't expect us to win this game but I thought we would actually make it close.  Regardless, If we win one of the next 2 games then I will be satisfied.

I think our starters were realigned for this series because:
1) Whoever faced Halladay was going to lose and
2) Bacsik was likely to lose no matter who he faced.

They also wanted to eliminate having three consecutive lefty pitchers.  Strikeout by Vaughn, I mean, Abreu.  Kearns misses the ball at the fence...

Nationals Nothing
Blue Jays 5

That's the spirit! ...  As for Austin's try - the brightness of that scoreboard is nuts ... not sure it would have made any difference though ...

You k now, when we're doing so crappy, I really don't want to hear our announcer extolling how great Halliday is.

God, please don't let Toronto sweep Washington.  I don't know what will become of our dear sportsfan!  Amen

yawn.. looks like they have mailed it in for the night. It's probably a good idea though so they are fully rested for tomorrow afternoon's game.

Winning 1 of 3 against an average team shouldn't be too much to ask of them, right?

I would think not, but I hope the sweep is avoided so you don't have a coronary :)
