Anyone else watching this atrocity?  Fell behind by about 20 points very early in the first quarter.  Still can't shoot, rebound, or defend very well.  The rookies can't play and the vets can't play.  Shooters can't shoot, rebounders can't rebound.  Point guards can't pass.  The coach looks hilariously exasperated.

Announced attendance last night was 14,426 but the arena was actually half full at best. We're having such trouble drawing fans these days (except for the Student Rush on Wednesdays and Fridays, which at least on the one showing thus far remains well-subscribed) that if you have a 400-level ticket you can go to the ticket window across from section 433 and 'upgrade' your seat (haven't tried it myself but it's been available for at least the last two home matches).

There just seems to be an air of resignation about the team - no Wall, no Nene so what can we do but follow either of two tried-and-true formulas:

(1) get way behind early (like last night), pour on the effort in the second half and still come up a day late and 63p short; or

(2) get a big lead early (like vs Utah this past Saturday) and fritter it away, coming up a day late and 63p short.

About the only positive is that they're keeping more 400-level concessions open than has been usual at non-sellout Wizards matchnights - I guess that's how Monumental is avoiding layoffs of catering staff while the Capitals remain idle.
