Adam Dunn is .055 away from actually hitting his weight.

After last night's performance (which I witnessed in person), this is no longer remotely true, if it ever was.  :hammer:

Are you guys still celebrating the day you "stole" him from the Nationals? ;) We also have a slightly used Jayson Werth available.

RP Luis Ayala (2005-2008 with Nationals), got a Hold last night for the Ori_les over the White Sox.

Josh Willingham just hit his AL-leading 5th home run for the Twins

So glad we signed Nady and DeRosa instead

We didn't have room for him on a long-term contract, assuming we're saving a spot for Harper at corner. We wouldn't have had a spot for him this year before Morse went down, unless we were dumping LaRoche.

Glad to see him doing well, though.

Another stathead doubting Milone.  I hope he proves all these negative predictions wrong and solidifies himself as a good ML starter.  Money quote from the article below.

-----------
All told, the comparatives for Milone don’t look favorable. Given his usage of an underwhelming four-seam fastball, it’s unlikely (but not impossible) he will be able to produce enough strikeouts and weak contact at the major-league level to perform above-average.

We never "stole" him, he was a free agent.  But he was a very bad investment.

we all hope so because we all like the guy.  It's just that we all don't take offense from someone looking at similar pitchers and trying to estimate the likelihood of that happening.  The only thing is, don't just say that statheads have it in for him.  It's the guys with the radar guns and spit tobacco juice who never thought much of him.  BA is the anti-stat head authority and has never thought of Milone as serious prospect.

You're right - for some reason I thought he was signed to a one-year.  Sigh.  But yes, glad for the Hammer.
