I don't think I've ever disliked a player more than Lopez.

WMP, FLop, Lenny Harris, Joel Hanrahan/Luis Ayala, Jim Bowden and the Lerners have me switching from Miller Lite to Bud Light.  They play like ****, so may as well feel like ****.

You need to add Walnuts and Colome and drop Joel from that list.

I wish our line-up would resemble something of a MLB team like the Astros.  With Matt Holliday it will!!!

For a guy with great stuff, Baley doesn't get many strikeouts.

Fantastic inning.

More runs! A shame the pitcher leads off this inning. If that dumbass Lopez wouldn't have hit into a DP Harris would be up.

If Lopez had only gotten ONE out, Ballester wouldn't be starting this inning.  >:(

Leads the majors in strikeouts by a reliever.

Bally gets his fair share of K's, but remember they told him when he came up to let them put the ball in play.  He doesn't walk a lot of batters which is just as good.

Oh and he's a decent hitter haha.

That just makes Felipe suck even more when the rookie pitcher gets a hit!

Hell yeah.  Bally is a better hitter than Flop and Pena.

Unbelievable. That's Balester's first Career Professional hit. He was 0 for 26 in the Minors as a hitter.

Not sure if this was posted somewhere already.

Quote
The Nationals have been quiet when it comes to the Trade Deadline, but, according to baseball sources, reliever Jon Rauch has been the most sought after member of the team.

One source said at least 10 teams are seriously interested in Rauch, but the source wouldn't say which teams had Rauch on their radar screens because a deal isn't close. It's no secret that a team such as the Red Sox needs bullpen help, and Rauch would be a perfect fit for them.

10 teams being "seriously interested" is a great thing. Means we could get something really nice.

We freaking suck. Lopez and Harris, 2 supposedly fast guys, hit into DPs in back-to-back innings.

We can't trade Rauch unless we get 2 major league ready players.

There was another instance when we should be bunting with the pitcher on the basepaths.

Sportsfan, you see what Stammen is doing against Bowie [7.0 IP, 3 H, 7 SO];  He has 32 IP @ Harrisburg thus far with 6 ER, 16 H, 10 BB, and 18 SO.

No it doesn't because those 10 teams think we're desperate for prospects so they'll offer us junk.
