season 4 looks intriguing. Dex living the married life but still has the need to kill. The new villain is John Lithgow.

can't wait.

that's stupid.  just because i'm not watching the wire doesn't mean you shouldn't watch dexter.  dexter is available on demand in HD.  wire, i have to go home and borrow the set.  i'm almost done with the first season it's not bad, but i don't think it's great.  i'm sure i'll get into soon.  whatever your freakin loss if you want to be a 12 year old.  dexter is a great show and it won't be available forever.

i'm getting into mad men now, solid show.

You also do netflix, you can just order it and watch it. Your the one ignoring our interests while professing yours. I'm trying to get you into a great show just like you are. Ill get into Dexter sooner or later

Yea, and finish it and Brian and I will get on Dexter :P :P

The important thing is that you need to get through the early episodes and the last few will bring you in. At least thats the general consensus on the show.

there's TV, and then there's art. The House season premiere was basically a 2 hr movie about House with a different cast and everything. He's a once in a generation actor (Hugh Laurie).

  loved it.

the ratings were through the roof.

Quote
A two-hour "House" kept pace with "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday and carried FOX to a ratings win for the night. "Dancing" was off a bit from its fall premiere last year, CBS' comedies were solid, and "Heroes" -- and consequently "The Jay Leno Show" -- struggled for NBC.

FOX led the night with 16.5 million viewers and a 9.5 rating/14 share in households. ABC was a strong second with 14.8 million viewers and a 9.5/15. CBS (12 million, 7.5/12) finished third. NBC (5.9 million, 3.7/6) was a distant fourth, and The CW (2.3 million, 1.6/2) trailed.

"House" also fueled a demographic win for FOX, which posted a 6.5 rating among adults 18-49. CBS took second in the demo at 4.0, followed by ABC at 3.5. NBC averaged 2.4 and The CW 1.1.

Fox certainly has the "easily entertained" audience cornered.

:lmao:

The ratings ABC gets with "Dancing with the Stars" shows just how idiotic the American population is.

House is a great show on Fox. as is Fringe and Dollhouse. These shows are in-depth and thought provoking.

I would have preferred if they used the season premier storyline for House for the entire season rather than going right back to the same format of having a new medical mystery every week while intertwining a few other storylines here and there.

I see that the simpsons was removed on Fox for the Office... Pretty freaking lame if you ask me. I'm not ragging on the Office but its on 18 different channels already.

I agree with this - TBS has 3 hours of The Office tonight.

It's a show for women. And A LOT of women watch it. I wouldn't call them "diluted" for watching it, though.

Just finished the first season of United States of Tara. Surprisingly pretty freaking good. Toni Collette is a great actress.

Watched the pilot episode of Community yesterday. I think that show's going to be REALLY popular.
