Yeah that pop up that wasn't fielded cost Patterson to hike up his pitch count.

LOL.  Wish JP could have gotten either Green or Valentin out so the bottom of the order led off next inning but it's ok.  Our offense needs to score some damn runs though.

JP ONCE AGAIN walks the #8 batter with 2 out, so the pitcher won't have to lead off.
This REALLY PISSES off Sportsfan###!

Belliard should show Patterson how to put corn-rows in his hair.  It would really distract some batters to see a thin cracker like JP looking that way on the mound.  Could win us a game.

That's 2 two-out hits. Can we find a third?

Nice bloop hit Church.  On another note, the home plate umpire tonight has been very consistent.  I wish all ML umpires were like him.  Here comes Feliciano, he is practically unhittable.

I grow them on my balcony.  They bloom in the spring.

CHURCH gets another hit - and knocks out their pitcher.  This guy is fantasy baseball money.  The Cubs are paying $20 million for Soriano, who has ZERO RBIs and ZERO HRs in 2007!

LOL.  You sure have a quick wit!

I think I'll keep Church over Sor.  He's doing better and costs less!  :D

Bases loaded for the Nats, what possibly could happen?

So damn predictable.. We have had our chances but can't get a clutch hit at all.  This 1 run lead will NOT hold up against this very good Mets' lineup. Our offense has to put some more runs up.  Our pitching shouldn't have to be perfect every night.

Bases loaded, 2 out.  OUT!
This is like deja vu all over again... and in NEW YORK!  (Mets suck.)
