If he had struck him out I would have been fine with that.  I'm not demanding that they plunk him...but to walk him is just the worst message you can send.

The way the Nats are hitting, it's a good thing Pedro pitches like The Chief's sister, or they'd look worse than the bad they look like already.

I hope Armas can keep this up all season. Even though he has 3 hits, none of them were hit hard. Broken bat single, soft grounder up the middle and a bunt single. Hes got great life in his pitches.

Also, anyone notice that the people in the Great Clips commercial have terrible haircuts?

Geez, in fact, if you look at the Nats batting order, they have 5 consecutive guys (from 6th to 1st) in the order who aren't making any pitchers shake in their boots

Wow, 4 pitches, two batters down :?  At least Armas took 3 whole pitches.

That inning was BEYOND pathetic.

7 pitches = 1 inning for Pedro Martinez.  Wow I wish he was on my fantasy team tonight.

When your team only has 4 guys in your starting 8 hitting the ball with any kind of consistency, you cant expect to put big numbers on the board.

If one of us runs over to the Mets board, and says "no hitter" would that be enough to jinx Martinez?

now was that a legitimate triple, or did Watson misplay it?
