Talk about a great inning. Guzman not being pulled for    a pinch-hitter then comes through with a single and finally a Wilkerson grand slam. Two slumping players, which should get a boost from this.

The Orioles are 1-0 under their new manager... They won 4-1 over the Angels.

And now I hope Frank leaves Patterson in even if he fails to get the first batter.  With a SEVEN RUN CUSHION I think he can afford the latitude to give Patterson the complete game he's earned.

You have to frown, most people tonight did not see that NATIONALS first Grand Slam on tv, I HATE YOU ANGELOS!! And thats why Nats fans love to watch ESPN Sportcenter for a recap of the game.

Is this also the first blowout in Nats history (by us rather than the other guys)? I shouldn't say anything because knowing the Nats, Frank will leave the pitcher in, and he will give up five runs before the Chief comes on to save the game...

What a fantastic game in every single imaginable way.

This has got to be huge for morale.  First back-to-back wins in god knows how long, first series since the Cubs, a complete game shutout for John Patterson (who's been screwed so many times with no-decisions), only our second complete game of the season, a bunch of great at-bats from GUUUZ, and oh yeah...THE FIRST EVER WASHINGTON NATIONALS GRAND SLAM, by struggling leadoff hitter BRAD WILKERSON.

And it was a blowout!

Yeah, this one was a fun one.

Great and dominant game.  Hopefully this is a sign of a turnaround.

Have a good evening, everyone.

all it took was for someone to hit a non-fluky, guaranteed Moonshot Home Run in RFK to get the batter confidence back up.

thanks Preston(from yesterday).

Don't quite understand what you are trying to say but I assure you that the Nats game was on Channel 20 in Maryland and elsewhere.  If you are saying that its not on your cable network which  might mean you live in Howard County simply disconnect the cable connection and put a pair or rabbit ears on top of your tv.
