What format are they?  I wonder if you could convert for Kindle.

oh i dunno. you'll have to go to the site(s) and see for youraelf, I don't bother with that stuff. I just click through the pages lol.

I think Mangashare offers downloads though. a lot of the Manga are also in stores for purchase (and maybe you can buy them on Kindle, I don't know), but they are behind, I read the most current issues online. as they release in japan, there are fansub groups that translate them and release them in english since the most current chapters are not available for purchase here yet.

for example the official US version of One Piece is about 2 story arcs behind, I think.

I need suggestions for when I am done with The Dark Tower (reading Book 4 now).

preferably Fantasy, you know..Swords & Sorcery, or some Sci-Fi that isn't super heavy on the technobabble(technobabble bores me). some good adventure-type books.

Sword of Shannara, like I recommended to Nathan, by Terry Brooks. If you like it, there are like 30 sequels.

Now that I'm done school for the semester, I finally have time to continue reading the rest of the trilogy.  I stopped after the first book since I had school books to read instead.

Elfstones of Shannara is one of the best books he ever wrote.

Wizard and Glass was my favorite in that series probably.

Check out George RR Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series... before it comes to HBO next year (Game of Thrones). It's unbelievable, although it's not yet complete.

Nothing compares.

While it's not exactly classic lit by any measure, I loved the R.A. Salvatore's Icewind Dale Trilogy. Also enjoyed Game of Thrones.

Scott Pilgrim graphic novels, I just started the first one. The movie is a panel-by-panel representation of the comic :worship:

Also, I thought MASH Goes to Maine was ridiculously funny.

I think it's specifically targeted to people who grew up as suburban hipster teens in the mid 90's and seems basically worthless to anyone else. I don't get the suburban hipster vibe from you

I love Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, too.

I'm suburban, but not hipster or teen in the mid 90s, and I liked both of those films as well.

Started reading the Dune series, pretty good. Not huge on sci-fi, but still. Next up is Lord of the Rings (it's a travesty that I have yet to read/see it, considering how avid a reader I am).

In the mean time, reading a good sports book called Scorecasting... I've seen some of the arguments, but it's good stuff.

EPIC SERIES. Brilliant on so many levels. I didn't even need to like Sci-Fi to become a lifelong fan.

Currently I am reading David Goldblatt's 'The Ball Is Round,' an in-depth, epic history of soccer.

I've read the first two Dune books and they were amazing.

I finished East of Eden, which was one of the best books I've ever read.

Right now I'm reading The Baseball Economist (off and on) and Infinite Jest.

The Dune books get really bizarre about halfway in, I think Herbert went senile. I've read them all plus the Kevin J Anderson "sequels."

"Infinite Jest" is next but right now I've got the following to finish (why do I read four books at once again!?!?!):

"Cod"
"Black is the New White"
"Strange Things Happen"

I once saw a chick driving a car with the license plate: REVMTHR

The nerd in me popped a tent pole in my pants.

Yeah that's where I am (will probably start Children of Dune next week).
