Surviving Nationals Off Days

2IPAs is watching multiple recordings of "The Dome".  It looks just like what my sister use to watch in the 70'2 with "All My Children".  I knew I should have gone to the bar tonight ...

When I first read this I was thinking 'Under the Dome' and I was like WTF? Then I re-read it and realized what you said. What is 'The Dome'?

It is Under The Dome.  It's a nighttime soap opera on CBS where this town has a dome land around the town and it captures the town residents inside the dome

Okay, I know what that is. Watched the first season. Not sure where it was going. Hard to like too many people in that one.

blake vs drake was pretty funny, but i started losing interest when they picked Ghana/US over Mo's last outing as a Yankee for the moment of the year.  At least they got the auburn/alabama as game of the year right.

I saw Drake was on and figured I'd stop by to see if Sara Lee was co-hosting.     When the host is named Drake, I know better than to expect being entertained.    It's on ESPN to boot and isn't a game.    There was little hope.      I played Parcheesi instead.    :)

I watched. Drake's really corny but he had his moments.

Isn't LaRoche's kid a little young to stay up that late?

he had a couple of decent jokes - the one in which he showed Prince Fielder's "body" shot from ESPN The Magazine and said "i heard you were a vegetarian, did that start yesterday"? was good.

Yea he was kind of painful sometimes but the "Honorable Mention/Side Pieces" song was pretty funny, "where the side pieces at?  They up in the balcony, they way in the back..."
