NOW he gets a hit!  That just adds even more insult to his tenure here to get the hit now!

More importantly, don't use it as a justification to keep him on the roster.

I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING FP.  Why was there a possibility of an Oriole player of the game yesterday but no Nationals player today?

It's apparently something they do for all Orioles broadcasts on MASN.  They have to find a way to save face, when their division foes every year are the Yankee$, the Red $ox, and Tampa Bay.

I wonder if the money Angelos makes off our TV broadcasts goes into his pocket or if they actually use it to try to improve the Orioles team.

Orioles got 8 runs on 14 hits. Painful.

I don't receive the post-game, so please tell us what Riggleman says about LaRoche and Stairs? Maybe that each got a hit today, so that hspows they are breaking out of their "slumps"?

LaRoche had a couple walks last night and a solid base hit today.  Nothing to say he is coming out of his super slump, but so far he hasn't had an awful weekend.

Pretty much (I started typing the earlier post just as the final out was recorded) - but when one is as radio-orientated as I am, it becomes second nature to make pronouncements of that sort.

What's Lannan's problem? Time for another stint to the Minors?

Probably time to just accept him for what he is - a pitch to contact guy that doesn't get lucky that often.

Can John Lannan trade places with Brad Peacock? It is absolutely ponderous watching him pitch, he is always in trouble and behind in the count. Enough already.

Riggleman spoke highly of Lannan's outing today after that one inning :?

Wouldn't be a bad move. Someone has to be called up to replace him. Our rotation suddenly looks very crappy

That buys him at least another month so he can DH when we play the other AL teams on the road.

It's AL team, and they are coming to DC right?

Fair point.  I'm 33 points better than the team so far.
