Getting batters out is such a struggle for O'Connor.

I'm sorry, but trading Soriano is nuts, did you see him on the base paths? He just made Derrick Lowe clinically insane ...

I would much rather have Joel Zumaya and Sanchez in the rotation than Soriano in the line-up. Even without Soriano the line-up is better than last year. Soriano can bring us the pitching we need. Also did you notice how GREAT Armas did yesterday and how O'Connor has looked so far.

I saw O'Connor pitch against the Yankees and Pirates and he had all their hitters guessing.  We all know he doesn't throw hard.  I'm not so sure its a matter of batters have him figured out.  I think he has lost his confidence and his cool and composure that he held when he was successful earlier this season.

I hope he can figure out soon.

Jeez, this is awful. O'Connor needs alot of work. Barely got out of that inning. I flinch every times a batter swings at one of his pitches. Maybe he can pitch 3 more innings without allowing too much more damage...?

Derek Lowe has been every bit as dreadful as O'Connor today.

Lowe has 7 strikeouts, The O'C has zero.

On the other hand, Lowe is at 85 pitches

But the score is 4-4 and if we'd actually had a hitter at bat, just now, we might actually have the lead again.

That could have been a DP.  At least the throw should have been to 2nd, easily.
