Who's back to hating on Flop, say I.
That AB is inexcusable. 2-0 count with a pitcher who can't find the K zone and he swings at the very next pitch, possibly a ball and ends the inning with a DP.

The restaurant in Nationals Park are right behind the plate instead of outfield seats as in all other parks with restaurants?

The Nationals open restaurant is in the outfield.  The President's Club behind home plate and the Diamond Club one level up are limited to those with super-expensive tickets.  I think the Stars &U Stripes Club is limited to pricey tickets too.

Would it be excusable if he hit a grand slam in the 8th?

I don't care what kind of **** you guys talk about Lo Duca. At season's end, he will have been a HUGE upgrade from the past few seasons.

You may want to quit counting around the ASB.  He usually breaks down badly in the 2nd half.  You can count on about a 40 point drop in both BA and SLG.

That's why we have Estrada

Long gone. Why didn't he throw his slider? For a guy that was in the division the last few years he does not know the NL East hitters very well.

That's a convenient time for nobody to be on base.

I'm sticking with this.

Can't Schroder pitch a strike?

Schroder's control has been horrible all inning.  He is all over the place.

Pretty pitiful crowd.  I'm somewhat embarassed.

Felipe started all of this with that dumbass DP.  Schroder would not have been in the game and we would likely be tied.

Uggla was 3-26 and on an 0-18 run before the HR.

It's funny: in the Cardinals series, a two-run lead seemed insurmountable.  Against the Marlins, we're just getting started.

This game appears to be over. Two runs is too much for our sorry offense.  The Marlins pen will more than likely shut us down.

BTW, why hasn't anyone banned bbq yet?

Just be sure it's the right pic.  Last year Hanley Ramirez was used for Reggier Abercrombie and some other dreg.  The Marlins are too cheap to take pics of ALL their players.

Of Schroder's 27 pitches, 23 were fastballs. That's a man without confidence in his other pitches.
