Or giving up a freaking double.  That was a total meatball.

And WTF Kearns?  You don't jump up for that crap.  Take a step back, dumbass.

and the last fallback of the Austin Kearns Defense (tm) fails us now.

THE OUTFIELDER'S FIRST STEP IS ALWAYS BACK!

jesus, we teach this to little leaguers.

46 pitches through 3 for Hill. A quick inning would definitely give him a chance to go 7. Doubtful Manny lets that happen, though.

That was a horrible fluke run anyways. Hill threw a great sinker on Hanley's hands and he pounded it so hard into the ground that it soared just over NJ's glove.  Hanley seems to get a lot of lucky hits.  His luck will turn sooner or later.

More importantly, the outfielder's last step should be back when the ball's going over his head.

Sportsfan was totally right.  Badenhop gets replaced by someone with a 1.50 ERA.  We needed to hammer him a bit harder.

If he had given us more to hit.

This guy that's in is no better. He's just a bit more accurate.

nice play by Jacobs robbing Felipe of a hit.  I feel a momentum shift. Guzman or RZ needs to tilt it back in our favor.

Can Zimmerman not pull outside pitches? I liked the hit, but I also like his pulling power.
