oh damn. I thought they said yesterday that Palmer would be joining them in the booth and that Hunter and Carpenter would be splitting PBP duties.
:hang: Jim Hunter is one of the worst announcers in baseball.

Palmer is fine, but Hunter is an awful homer.  He could make Carpenter blush.

It's freaking Rich Hill.

Minty Fresh Bard really SHOULDN'T have hit into that double play.  ANY professional hitter would tell you that it's their JOB not to hit into a double play :nono:

The crappy Nats AA Harrisburg Senators pounded O's prospect Jake Arrieta for 3 runs in the first inning of their game tonight.

If that team of bums can do that there is no reason the Nats shouldn't score runs off of Rich Hill.

JZ doesn't have a problem throwing strikes like most of the pitchers on this team but he leaves too many pitches over the plate and doesn't change the eye level of opposing hitters enough.

ugly. two 2 out runs in back to back innings.

I can't stand that. get freaking three outs and stop throwing the ball down the middle.

It must not be very difficult to come by tickets behind the plate, because I see different people there practically every night, and they're frequently visiting fans :?

They give a lot of those away.  One of our PTA members has a friend in the ownership group.  She asked for a small team banner to use for a teacher thing, and the owner gave a substantial package of stuff, including a couple of tickets behind home plate to each of several games this week end.  It was cool that our PE teacher won one set, cause he actually likes baseball and can in no way afford the $300 seats.
