They just don't want you to have hard things that can become weapons.  I bring a small backpack with peanuts, a water bottle, backup clothing/raingear, and hide the flask - good to go.

For you Tom:

At Nationals Park, Raging nag Belgian-Style IPA, UnderDog, and Snake Dog will be sold in general concession areas, the Red Loft Bar, and the Red Porch Bar.

It appears that 'in seat service' for the Red Porch Regulars will not be an option in 2013 - sadness.

Tell me about the 300 level? What's on  it that might be worth an extra 20 bucks?

Depending where you sit, you can see the whole field.  If on the 3rd base side, you're not in the sun all day.

Behind home plate. Trying to see if they're that much better than 416

The difference between a nice vantage point and too high in the sky.

Appears to be fully in place in the Club and lower bowl between the bases now.

I tried it didn't work.  It may need to be updated.  It's free!

Why is it that we are so lucky to have the highest beer prices in MLB? Old man Lerner still thinking he can take it with him.

Meanwhile, thirsty fans pay the most at Washington Nationals games -- where, unless they take advantage of a $5 drink special before the first pitch, the cheapest beer available is a 16-ounce can for $8. For half that, beer drinkers can get a 12-ounce draft at Cleveland Indians games. The best deal? A 14-ounce beer for $4 at Arizona Diamondbacks' Chase Field.

I just read a Tweet from last night claiming that beers are now $9 at the park, I believe that it was posted before midnight, but could be an April Fools, any confirmation?

I drink only the $5 pregame beers and order water or soft drinks after that.  No beer is worth $8.00 to me.

FYI...they're still doing the Hard Times promotion but you now only have two days instead of five to get your free wings.

$9 for domestic, $9.75 for the good stuff (in the latter case it's that price both at the concessions and sold-in-stands).

My seat is 312/A/1, ever so slightly to the left of home plate - it's The Best Seat In The House, with a truly panoramic view - simply magnificent.

most stands had $9.00 cans of MGD/coors light/miller light, and $9.75 cans of Blue Moon.  I bought a can of Coors and regretted it the rest of the game.  $9 for a beer is just insane (but then again, I also paid $5.00 for a hot dog).
