The only difference is...that the only pitcher we KNOW has been throwing well against the Braves is Bergmann...and like I said, if Bergmann says he's not tired...then let the kid do it.  It will do wonders for the bullpen and clubhouse morale.

But now we don't know who else is going to pitch well against the Braves, with someone on first and no outs.  If a reliever had started the 9th it would be bases empty, no outs.

His 110th pitch.  He's human.  If he put anyone on base, he has to leave.  Kind of the unwritten rule for the guy who wants a complete game.
