He was a good defender who took lots of walks. He just wasn't in Morse's caliber.

My memory is that Langerhans hit about .200. Haven't looked it up, but that's my first thought when I see the name.

Wonder where we'd be if Ramos hadn't blown out his knee.

Bat went through the zone for both Espinosa and Flores in that inning. Would have put the ball in play if the ball met bat.

In no way the worst call of the game.

Well it wasn't like Ramos was setting the world on fire at the time of his injury.....

This has been an amazing game in every way. However, if I see that Nissan commercial for "Summer Savin' Days" one more time, I may throw a brick through my TV.

He was once a highly-regarded prospect in the Braves system...I have vague recollections of him hitting a grand slam against us back in RFK days (or was it for us during his brief tenure here? He did have his moments).

Not even close to being the worst.

When Lombo made the great catch at first, one foot on the plate then dragging the other hard across it all while holding the ball, and having the runner called "safe" - THAT was the worst call.

Of course there have been 30 or more pitches a foot off the plate (inside to right handed hitters) called strikes, but at least he's been consistently awful there.

Ramos has potential, just like Espinosa. He would have come around in a big way.
