We'd be screaming bloody murder if an opponent did that to us like Espi just did.

He pulled away (just not far or fast enough) at the last instant before it hit him.  Clean HBP, no controversy.

Flores is awful SF.  Way to pick 'em.
He isn't an every day catcher, offensively. Not enough solid contact. Defensively he's pretty good so you have to live with his subpar offense.

Props to Danny leaning into that pitch. Unselfish, big time job. I like guys like that. He doesn't care about stats he just wants to win. Every team needs an Epinosa or Lombo to be a winning team.

Flores is good enough for a catcher but I think Solano should get 1/3 of the starts, it would keep Flores fresher.
