yeah, they shouldn't have bothered playing the last three innings, the all-knowing Sportsfan882 declared the game over in the 6th, so the Nats should have forfeited right then and there.

right? RIGHT?

post from the Reds' board:

Quote

For you Dunn haters out there, you got what you deserved today.

Two "meaningless" doubles, two hit-by-pitches, three runs scored. Batting average now at .285. Meanwhile, hope you're all enjoying following these Reds ... with the worst team batting average in the major leagues.

All told for Dunn's return to Cincinnati -

4 for 8 with a "solo" homer (lol), 2 doubles, 6 walks, 2 HBP, 5 runs scored, flawless play in the field at first base, and, as well, not a single strikeout.

So in other words, in 16 plate appearances, Adam Dunn reached base TWELVE times!

Read it and weep and enjoy following this loser of a franchise, who now have lost 3 out of 4 games to both the cellar dwellers Padres and Nationals at HOME.

God must be Catholic (or whichever religion celebrates on Sundays) ... the Nats are freakin money on Sundays.  Has to be our best day of the week of baseball all year long.

My DirecTV for some reason here in Fort Smith has a Washington DC TV channel and every Sunday afternoon game is on here. I have watched 6 or 7 games this year... Not a single loss when I am watching.

hell yeah, keep us up-to-date about your record with listening to radio.  i'm superstitious and in the past i've turned to charlie/dave and we'd go on 3-4 game winning streaks.

Haha, that is wht my friend told me. We were watching the game here, left when we were up 2-0, got to a rstaurant, checked my phone, down 4-2, came home, sat down, turned on the TV in time to see Willingham undercutting the Reds catcher. Didn't even see the hit.

post from the Reds' board:

:lmao:  Those same message board "sources" SF quoted to rip and prove that Dunn is a loser, POS, who doesn't care about winning are probably quoting SF claiming that Nats fans have confirmed their convictions about what a bum Dunn is.

You're kidding, right? You'll sit out because folks don't like your griping? Screw that. Post away.

I apologize for nothing. I said what I said. I was wrong. and so was he.

Look at the play it took for the Nats to win this game. you'll never see a play like that again :lmao:

I will sit out Tuesday's game thread.

He made a bet - which he lost - so he's honoring that bet.  Or at least claiming that he will for now.  We all know he'll show up in the 4th inning of Tuesday's game and proclaim it over, thus "freeing" him from his commitment.

 and he'll reem stammen for giving up 2 runs in the 3rd, although he'll end up going 7 strong innings with just two runs given up.  you can always PM SF though.

You said the game was over and we lost in the 6th inning when we were down by 1 run. You said that this game was one of the most embarrassing losses of the season, as if the outcome was already decided.

I said it wasn't over.

what was I wrong about?

newsflash genius, this is Pro Baseball. not Little League. They play 9 innings here. not 6.

After watching the comedy of errors, described by some as the first half of this professional baseball season in Washington, D.C., I could understand how it could be confused with little league.

no radio for me this week.

I got Work(YAYS! employed again!) and Bartending Class. between the two, I am pretty much occupied between 7am and Midnight, including travel time.  so I'm gonna miss every game next week.

someone else will have to make the sacrifice of forgoing Bob and Dibs in favor of Charlie and Dave, for the good of the team.

I've been tuning in to Charlie and Dave most night while at work since the All Star break.  I usually miss Sundays game because it's too early usually.
