This guys just fills the mold for #two spot in order nicely imo.  Has good doubles power, gets on base a lot and with decent speed.  Hopefully he finishes the year nicely in A or AA if promoted.  I know because of Perez he has mostly played in RF or LF but does he project as a potential center fielder or a corner outfielder?

"Destin is so Hood". And you add "Brian i have Goodwin", and you have two Torii Hunter type players. We will have the #1 farm system in no time.

He kind of reminds me of Jose Guillen without the roids and roid rage

I honestly believe one of the things that made Guillen great was that he was nuts.

hahahaha.  he's definitely in the running.  i'd like to see him continue what he's doing and then experience a taste of AA to finish the season.

Nice to see the 20 2B's.  Hopefully a few more of those turn into homers as he gets older.

they will.  he has raw power and already has 4 homers this season (just five last year).  I'm expecting him to finish with 10.

I'm projecting this kind of career:

.280-.285 AVG
15-25 HR
30-40 2B
15-20 SB

Nice - the upper end of that is an all star.  The lower end is Ryan Church-ish for a corner OF.  Not bad and way better than anything we have right now.

i truly think he's going to be a star.  he doesn't get enough attention.  maybe its good, he flies under the radar.

Ah, if only the team had a Ryan Church now. I still remember the front office line: he's only a 4th OF, and Schneider can't hot more than .240, while the Nats get EverLasting Milledge...a sure-fire all-star.

He hasn't even played a game this year and split the last two years between four teams, so clearly the Nats weren't the only team who thought they could do without him.

I was thinking of the R Church who was traded.

???  We're talking about the same guy.  Unless you mean the difference in years.  Even then, I doubt we'd be any better off now if Church had been with the Nats for the last 4 years.
