What? Wood actually stopped sniffing used jocks and got out of the locker room? He is going to miss all the action!

ump is screwing the Nats already. Mock throws one right down the middle and doesn't get the call. split the plate.

that was the worst call of the year:

pitch 3 was called a strike and pitch 6 wasn't despite being closer to the center of the plate. :?

that's game. why did he just throw a strike on an 0-2 count?

Mock is a total moron. worst starter on the staff.

College Football Saturday and Pete Orr scores a early TD for the Nationals then spikes the ball

I am seriously considering becoming a farmer and shunning all sports from my life. It's games like these that tilt the decision in that favor.

That play will be all over the highlight shows.

I've never seen anything like it. I've seen a player spike the ball on the ground in front of him but never actually throw the ball behind him.

I saw Ken Griffey Jr do it at RFK and he just missed Adam Dunn who was playing leftfield

Pete Orr playing 3B and batting second in the lineup is an insult to Nationals' fans intelligence.

It sickens me that this loser has a guaranteed spot on the team next season thanks to Rizzo ejaculating over the Warriorr's brief hot streak after being called up.

That doesn't speak well of Rizzo's logic.

no it does not. a shame. Rizzo said he was so blown away with how well Orr has played that he wants him to learn to be a catcher this off-season so he can be our back-up catcher/starting second baseman/utility player in 2010.

He completely ignored the fact that Orr had a terrible year in AAA and is a career minor league bum and wouldn't have seen the Majors if he were in any organization except Washington.

I just don't know how Rizzo, Kasten, etc. expect the fans to believe that this team is going to be any better next year when we are keeping guys like Orr on the team.

Dukes botches a line drive hit right to him. the laughable errors continue

the nats might set a record in this game. wouldn't surprise me if they piled up 4-5+ errors.

Dukes is so freaking bad. Three straight strikes.

I would not cry if we moved him.
