If we lose this game it is on Manny.  Can someone tell me why in the hell you would change the lineup from the previous night when everything was clicking?  Makes absolutely no sense.

Sportsfan, you see what Stammen is doing against Bowie [7.0 IP, 3 H, 7 SO];  He has 32 IP @ Harrisburg thus far with 6 ER, 16 H, 10 BB, and 18 SO.
Yes, I was just about to post on that. He is officially on everyone's radar now.

Look at his starts since being promoted to AA:
6.1 IP 2 ER
7 IP 2 ER
5 IP 1 ER
7 IP 1 ER
And then tonight 7 IP 0 ER so far

Young being hurt necessitates a change at 1B.

I hate Pence, whoever said he is using that fastball too much earlier was right.

I'm not sold on Balester.  Way too hittable.  I'd rather Clippard have his spot.

His curve looks good. He needs to use it more often.

I'm not writing him off.  Clip was much more impressive up here.

Two good strikeouts for Balester to end the inning.  He didn't show the fastball as much in the those two batters.

I agree.  We all know his fastball is his best pitch, but he needs to mix in his breaking pitches more.

Well Clip has been atrocious in Columbus lately. Mock is pitching well. I'd like to see him get re-called soon.

Adam Dunn just hit one to South America.  I hope we make a serious play for him.

T-Clip : 1-1, 4.35 era, 10.1 ip, 12 h 5 er, 7 bb, 8 k

Bally has similar numbers.  Not ready to give up on any of the youngsters yet.  That is of course except for WMP.

We have to start hitting Wandy he is garbage.

MASN freaked this inning up by having talk the entire time pretending she knows what she's doing.

bad inning. Looks like Wandy is settling down. He'll probably hold us scoreless for 4 or 5 more innings while they peck away off of Balester and our pen.
