That's such a stupid statement. 16 games is 10% of the season. They could catch on fire and finish over .500 - there's no way of knowing.

Sit NJ down.

81-81 > 102 losses

better?

81-81 > 102 losse

Again, the second half of the season, they played on a 102 loss pace. What don't you understand about that?

just call up stammen and/or balester

It won't fix the defense and mental lapses (granted, a pitcher working efficiently can keep the defense sharper, but the defensive problems go deeper than just that).

Crab has looked bad today but the defense has killed him. putting young inexperienced guys like Balester or Stammen out there with this horrible defense behind them would not be a good idea.

Sign Pedro, waive Cabrera, fire Manny, have Riggleman insitute fielding practice, and get Beimel back - you have a different team.

"That's good [that they called the bullpen], because I don't think there was any more I could take" - Charlie Slowes.

Charlie needs to get on Manny's case now.

 at all of Cabrera's nuthuggers jumping off his bandwagon. he has been terrible all season. today is no different. He's pitching the same here as he did with Bmore for his entire career. the sooner they get rid of him the better. complete waste of money

no he was terrible today and wasn't that good in his first start, but the other two weren't bad.  his defense behind him didn't help much either.

and p.s. your boy bowden was the one that signed him.  but of course you can't blame one of your boys.

good lord. what the freak do these guys in the 4 hours before the game starts? they don't take fielding practice, they don't watch video of the other teams' hitters or pitchers.

I said he was our best pitcher the first couple rotations, and I stand by that. The wheels are coming off, now is the time to stash him in AAA - no one in their right mind would claim him off waivers.

Bergey shuts them down.  How about moving Bergey into Crab's spot?  We need to get rid of Crab today.

but SF doesn't think so, so none of our opinions count b/c he's right.  oh and by the way we can't criticize any of his boys b/c they are perfect.

yeah replace a guy who walked 4 in 2.1 ip, for a guy who walked three last night in less than an inning.  wise thinking.

Crab is averaging 4.58 innings per start after his first 4 starts this year. unacceptable.

Dibble continues to harp on the defense. i love it

Bergey doesn't have control issues.  That was his first appearance this season.
