It's prorated unless he has a major league deal like Mattheus.

I hope Stammen throws nothing but cutters this time around.

He was getting something like 15% swinging strike rate. One of the highest in baseball.

He is, but you can have a minor league deal on the 40 man roster.

Slaten getting a less-than-rosy evaluation by Slowes and Jageler on the radio broadcast just now...mentioning, among other things, 50% of inherited base-runners being allowed to score (following last night's three-RBI triple).

a guy like Stammen is probably on a "split contract" - where he gets one salary in the minors and a different larger while in the majors.

Since he has some service time, he'll get a prorated portion of a salary slightly higher than the league minimum. The minimum is $414K this year, so, let's say Stammen will get a prorated portion of $420K.

Mark Zuckerman blogged his report card today and he actually Slaten the F that he so rightly earned.  I can't believe one of the team's beat writers would give one of the players an F!  :lol:

Ben Goessling was more generous and gave Slaten a gift grade of D-
