Maybe he's hoping they can cart him off to the lunatic asylum before they replace him with David Carr again.
David Carr's team just beat him.

Unbelievable game, the thing that really struck me watching today's games is that all of these teams can actually tackle.  Detroit - take note!

I can't believe my G-men are going back again, given where they were a few weeks ago - what a replay of 2007-08!  Only this time, on paper anyway, the Giants are the better team going into the Super Bowl.  I expect they'll be a slight favorite.

Really couldn't have asked for two better championship games today, fantastic football.

You mean like last time when Belicheck walked off the field with time still on the clock?

How so?  Perhaps they're more battle tested in this postseason, but the Patriots have a better offense while both defenses were pretty bad in the regular season.

I highly doubt this happens. I'll take the Pats 24-17. Without looking, my guess is that the Pats are 1 or 1.5 point favorites, but I can see the Giants being favored.

What the freak is Alex Smith laughing about?  That he's a damn bum?

Probably laughing because he avoided throwing the interception that would've exposed him. Who are we kidding, sure Williams freaked up and his fumbles were inexcusable handing NY 10 points but at that point SF was not going to score unless Gore broke a long run, the defense scored or Akers kicked an 85 yard field goal. SF had little to no chance to beat NE with Smith at QB (even though sportsfan was defending him ). Alex Smith kept NY in the game by not being able to throw the ball to his WR's out of fear.

The money will probably come in from NE's side so the spread should favor NE for the next ten days or so.

I only watched them play the Redskins, so I think the Pats are unbeatable and the Giants are  horsecrap.

My model projects Pats -3, but that doesn't weight recent performance... I'm pretty surprised. 3.5 is very high.

Harbaugh declined to be interviewed. He strikes me as a spoiled brat that pouts when he doesn't get his way.

I'm with you JCA. I figured the Giants would be a slight favorite.

I don't get why you guys thought this.

BTW, the AFC was chalk all the way through. The Giants spoiled that in the NFC.

He comes across as someone who has the ability to be a real jerk. John Harbaugh doesn't seem like that at all.

Exactly. And that showed when they beat Detroit earlier in the season. He's doing his post game presser right now.

If I remember correctly, he was pretty intense during his playing days and had some run-ins with coaches and other players. Didn't he and Mike Ditka have some problems?

Probably but it's not like he was a great QB. He was actually below average but had a small run when he led a few comeback wins and was dubbed captain comeback. That's probably what most people remember of him but he was otherwise a bum.

i think the Giants defense is miles ahead of NE, and their offense is just as good (and more balanced).  The Giants just rolled through Atlanta, & Green Bay, got by a very very good SFO team (on the road).  NE has only played one tough team in the playoffs.

IMHO, the Giants should be heavy favorites going into the SB.  But Brady is Brady.

Very surprised to see NE 3 to 3.5 favorites.
