We need to get Bobby Knight to do a WNFF chat.

We would need some chairs for him to throw around.

Why is there a thread named Jeter Theater stickied? Just a random thread to have as a sticky IMO.

Wait. If someone is the last post of a topic and then revises their post via edit, does it update the post and say "New"?

If so, how long has it done this?

I don't believe it does.  At least it never used to, I've come back to a topic later, without it saying new, and noticed the last post was edited.

Hmm. The reason I was asking is because Obed had the last post in a topic but it kept coming up as new, even when I clicked the topic prior to see it was the same post. I did notice some revisions each time though so I just put two and two together.

Neat. I think I just discovered my WNFF super power.

Sorry cmdterps44. I wish we didn't have that modify button. I get too tempted to fiddle with posts.

Could be a change in the latest patch.  Or perhaps I mixed something up whilst applying said patch

It happens all the time because Catseye edits his posts 567 times.

It would not be the first time. I have a "if I told you I'd have to kill you" method for rendering threads inaccessible as well.

It's always done that as far as I can remember.

Remember Sportsfan got busted altering a post to reflect more recent mindfact developments.

:lmao: I try to avoid using my super powers for evil.

It seems better to edit an existing post if no one has replied yet than post twice in a row.

Grammar or spelling mistakes seem open to revision at any time.

Well a modify is kind of "new".  Something changed and you do click 'post' after modifying.

I thought the only person who could modify a post is the original person who wrote it or an admin.
