Let's hope Detwiler keeps us in the game and we rally.

Right - it was a line drive

That swing was freaking money, we have our cleanup hitter back.

Where is the Chein Ming Wang that Davey Johnson raved about this spring?  His judgment is terrible.

he was good in spring, but he hasn't been here.

still detwiler was good in his first few starts, but then he started nibbling and sucking.

Ross: 3.2 IP 0 H 0 R 0 BB 1 HP 3 K. Huge outing from him to keep us on it.

Detwiler's stuff plays up much more out of the pen. I'd be tempted to keep him there and dig in AAA for someone to replace Wang.

I saw him in spring and he wasn't that good then either, not as awful as he is now, but not that good.  That's the point I had.  It was reported that Johnson though Wang was his 3rd best starter.

you may have saw him once in spring ... the times i saw him and all the reports i heard was he was pretty damn good.  but it doesn't matter, he's bad now.  i just am not impressed with our backup plans.

By the way, if the umpires can look at replay for home runs, they surely could look at disputed/close plays at the plate.
