In reference to the second game of the double header today, the Phillies are just playing with us. They are throwing out Andrew Carpenter who is making his '09 debut against Daniel Cabrera.

It should be a pitching match-up that will go down into legend!

They just said on Nats Xtra that Hanrahan has pitched well lately and will soon resume the closer role again.    That should make eagleskins happy though.

Have you ever noticed no RP pitches well twice in a row? Why not just rotate the closer role...keep 'em guessing. What's the worst that could happen? Like it could make the results any worse! :)

Are one of these games a make-up from a rain-out?

Zimmerman home run!   There have been 3 hits in the game all homers.

There's a big line of T-storms coming from the NW and then rain almost certain all night, so this could be a long day.

Hey, Hammondsnats.  Stammen looked good in a loss yesterday. Bally's about a month away.  Mechanical issues. Thats it.  No Injuries to report, Thank God.  Lets hope Olsen kicks into gear.
