Think Teddy finally wins tonight?

Or would they save that for Stras's first start?

Anybody see that stat?

The Nats have the best 1-2-3 hitters in the majors, with a combined batting average of .305.

We can compete if we get some pitching

The Milwaukee hitters are staring at their shots a little too long. Come on Martin, they are showing you up!

I would too if I just hit the ball over the bullpen. That was a mammoth shot!

The one thing I don't like about Stras is the fact that he seems to not have any idea about the team. I wish the kid at least had a passing knowledge of the Nationals organization.

It's Troy Tulowitzki, the other rookie that first place votes in 2007 (after Ryan Braun).  For some reason, I knew that and just confirmed it at baseball-reference.

Another thing I saw was that Josh Willingham was also a rookie in 2006 (with RZ) and finished 9th in the voting.  I didn't know he had so few years in the majors.

They're showing him up with their bats. It's a nag ass move to hit a batter because they admire their work. If you don't like it shut them down!

We have to string some hits together.  We can't live only on the homerun!

Yeah the bullpen was our achilles heel early on and now our starters are killing us.

he's from the west coast. i doubt most college players know much about the Nats.

SS is a decent speaker. says all the right things. reminds me of RZ.

Willingham is god awful right now. he's trying to dead pull everything.

he fell down trying to pull that last pitch that was thrown in the dirt.

Willingham has looked foolished at the plate for a minute now. Is he falling back to earth?

Wasn't Lopez up last inning?  They're turning over their batting order every inning?

Nah, the game is just going fast. Only and hour has surpassed and we're already in the 5th inning.
