Not even close. Morgan gets nailed more than the class slut at a keg party.
Willingham finally gets a homer with someone on base.
Josh's trade value just went up a little more!
He had one at Houston too.
I don't know what Anderson Hernandez has done to somebody in power, on this team. Guzman should never see the field, as a Nationals player, again.
Damn, I missed it!
In the past when Guzman has sucked, he's been hiding some injury. Mark my words, the Nats will discover something within the next week or so. Guzman hides that sort of thing. Remember, he wanted to go back out on the field with his thumb ligament torn from the bone.
Actually, Stammen pitched in that game too. It was the 13-2 blowout at Houston.
Willingham is a stud! 10 fantasy poins woohoo.
Most players, interim manager Jim Riggleman said on Wednesday, "don't really care where they hit. They really don't." But at least one player on Riggleman's roster, Cristian Guzman, cares quite a bit. Dropped to sixth in the lineup after the team acquired natural leadoff man Nyjer Morgan, Guzman has since dropped into a slump as well.Whether that slump is a byproduct of the lineup shift or a mere coincidence, Riggleman isn't sure. But the evidence of a link is strong enough that Washington, in an effort to jump-start its shortstop, is moving Guzman back to the No. 2 spot. Perhaps for the foreseeable future."Somehow or another it can get in your head, where you're hitting in the lineup," Riggleman said. "Whether it did or not [with Guzman] I don't know, but we're going to try to get him going again and have him hitting higher in the lineup... I said to him a few nights ago, 'You don't want to hit down there, do ya?' And he was just like, 'Nah.' "
Well they told us he had bunions about a week ago. Maybe he's got an ingrown nail too.
