Their original purple with a teal logo. It's awesome.

They're one of the worst designs in the history of uniforms.

I disagree. There were aspects of them I did not like, (Namely the pinstripes and the vest-style alternates.) but I love the logos, colors, and fonts. I think the Diamondbacks should seriously consider changing their uniforms back to the old colors.

I disagree too.  That uniform was worn when beat the Yanks in the World Series

Well, that's the beauty of art - one man's trash is another man's come up.

So . . . art is valid if it's used to beat the Yankees?

But you really can't beat the ChiSox shortie kit...this harkens back to the glory days of sweater vests, denim shirts, and velour jumpsuits.

They should bring these back on a throwback day for the hilarity.

Just ordered some new hats from eBay. Got a charcoal grey Blue Jays hat from their last uniform set. They apparently wore it with their home uniforms in 2005. I like obscure, weird, little-used hats like that, plus I have a decent amount of grey in my wardrobe, so it'll match my clothing well. I also got a green Devil Rays hat from their uniforms prior to the name change and a black D-Backs road hat with the gold D snake from their old uniform set. I'll post some pictures when they arrive.

My new hats arrived today. Honestly, they're just cheap-ish feeling hats that were probably giveaways at parks for promotions, but they look fine and they fit as well if not better than some of my higher end Nike or New Era hats.

Here's my updated collection.

Do you wear them all throughout the summer/year?      I have a lot of hats (various things besides just baseball teams) and there are some I don't wear for who the hell knows what reason.    :)

Yup. I mix and match based on what looks good with a given tie dye shirt. The only ones I haven't worn yet are Cinci, Cleveland, and Chicago. Cinci fits weird, Chicago is kind of uncomfortable, and I just haven't gotten around to wearing the Lintys yet.

You need Expos, preferably the old one with red & blue mesh on the back.

Otherwise a very solid collection

Like this one? It's among the ones I'm considering getting next.

It's still available on MLBShop, as well as versions of the same style for other teams as well.

It's not a pure bright white. It's an off-white/cream color. I think it's undyed cotton. I believe they're trying to make it look like the old hats they wore back in the early 1900s.

So these are the next hats I'm considering getting, along with the Expos hat mentioned above.

Got some money from my grandparents yesterday and MLBShop has hats on sale for 25% off, so I picked up a white/red/blue Expos hat, a tan alternate Padres hat, and an orange Astros hat. The Astros and Padres are on backorder unfortunately.

This one is awesome. Unfortunately, my tan Padres hat has been delayed indefinitely. I'm concerned that it's not gonna ship at all.

For Mitlen's benefit, that's a green tomato color.

My Padres hat finally shipped and MLBShop finally put an adjustable version of Seattle's blue/yellow alternate up, so I bought it and a black D-Backs alternate. I think I'll also pick this up eventually. I've always liked our batting practice hats, but they've never made a structured adjustable version that I've seen until now.

I don't know why I collect so many hats. I wear them a lot now, but as soon as I graduate and get a real job, I won't be able to anymore. Oh well. They're still a lot of fun.

They should wear these full time instead of the bland navy hats they've got.
