Livan at 85 pitches through 4

Yeah but he's not exactly on a pitch count.

Dukes faux pas cost Livan a number of extra pitches.

With speed like that I surprised Livan does bunt for hits

That look on Riggs was great. "Wow, I actually have a pitcher who's passed puberty."

Pitchers like Zach Day might not have been stars at baseball, but some people forget that they could be great people.

I've always wondered who got him banned. most of us didn't have a problem with him.

yeah ok. why bother playing the other 6 innings, right?

i'll make you the same offer I made Sportsfan that he refused.

since you "know the direction the game is going" in the 4th inning,  and your crystal ball shows you exactly how the game is going to turn out..

if the Nats take the lead again tonight, ban yourself for a month.

if they don't, I'll do the same.

That would put me in the position of wishing the Nationals do poorly, which I'd never do.  I'd actually like to be wrong, despite the fact that I think the game is over.  I hope the Nationals win this game but my hopes and wishes mean nothing.

Nice Guzman, things definitely rolled the right way for that run (a 2 strike bunt and a passed ball).
