The Redskins are running a Jelly Donut Offense, which is only disabled against teams that are blind while playing in wheelchairs.

I never thought there could be a more conservative and clueless offense than what Gibbs ran the last few season but this playcalling tonight takes the cake.

the Giants need to learn how to put teams away.  this game should *not* be as close as it is.

we keep letting the redskins hang around.

The defense looks dog tired. Damn offense can't even pick up first downs.

Ironically, the Redskins were beating the Giants in the first game last year, and similarly let them stay in it long enough to win.  But the Skins need to score twice with 6:12 in the 4th quarter, and are playing a clueless game.  Giants will win AND cover the spread.

16 is far more than enough. Have you seen the Skins' offense? The Redskins' d hasn't had a great game but they gave the team a chance to win. This loss is squarely on the offense.

And stubborn ass Zorn is still running the ball down 9 with 6 minutes left. BRILLIANT!

Zorn can freak off. The play calling has been awful.

Look, they finally pass and get a big play.

Giants don't need to blitz.  Cover the receivers and run out the clock.

Nats lose in embarrassing fashion. Lead-off double in the 9th and then 3 straight strike out on sliders. Pitiful.

Great pitching tonight by the Nats but their offense took the night off.

defense is getting tired.

if our offense could execute, we'd be up by 2 TDs and I wouldn't be worried.

but since they didn't and we're not....

GAME OVER.  Nationals LOSE 2-0.  21st shutout?

San Diego is WINNING 3-1 in the 5th.  I.m convinced that Martis was started to get us back losing, and the #1 pick. 5 walks in 5 innings pitched.

Martis pitched fine. He could have pitched a shut out and we still would have lost. This loss is on the offense.

the skins haven't tried to go downfield all game. maybe once.

but that's what you get with the West Coast Offense. it isn't built on the deep ball.  it is a nickel-and-dime offense based on short precise routes, from what little I know about it.

It staggering how cowardly the Redskins offensive play calling has been.  I'd rather lose with an interception on a pass thrown 30 yards, than this wimpy afraid-to-try approach.  But I'm not surprised.

Zorn = Lenny Harris.

I think it is more of a result of the Offense Zorn is installing.  the WCO is just not a deep ball offense.   it is a 5-15 yard horizontal passing offense.
