WHO'S WITH ME

  I commend and share your hatred and I hope NY bounces the birds but I can't join you in that.

It's tough to explain it to someone who hasn't been around for very long gone through it all. Some of us remember all the crap the orioles' fans talked about the Nats and their fans beginning in 2005. They considered themselves superior to us and talked crap about us and our franchise because we infringed on their so called territory. I can't even imagine the crap they would talk if they end up going deeper into the postseason or worse if they beat the Nats in the WS.  :hang:  :hang:

These people need to go to Nationals Park for the Saturday night games against the O's, when their fratboy fans come to the stadium in droves and really show Baltimore's proximity to Philadelphia.
Booooo!

I just bought Jeffrey Maier a front-row outfield ticket.

First time for everything. And I only started watching this year, I have not had the chance to intensely hate the O's yet.

I forgive you (and Vega).  I really don't get why CARLSGR8, a supposed long-time Washington baseball fan who suffered great pains because DC didn't have a team for years, would possibly want to root for the Orioles, but to each their own.  She seems to have battered fan syndrome.

I can't believe the Orioles are about to win this game.  The Rangers freefall has been complete. There was no slowdown in this freefall.

I'm sure their die-hards wanted to see their first playoff appearance in 15 years.

How awesome would this be:

The postseason sort of parallels 1996 with the Orioles having an epic collapse against the Yankees after some insane play, and Bryce Harper eventually hitting mammoth home runs at Yankee Stadium in the World Series.  Only with Harper's team eventually winning it all.

Yeah the Nats don't stand a chance in buzz against O's Yanks.  Everyone will understand soon.

No I was a kid with Baseball fever in 69 who found themselves without a team in 72.  Dad would take me to games at Memorial Stadium.

I saw Brooks.Boog Palmer Cuelliar. EDDIE -CAL-EARL PLAY fantastic baseball for years.  I blame previous commissioners for DC not getting a team!  TORONTO-TAMPA-COLORADO-FLORIDA. ALL GOT TEAMS BEFORE ANGELOS AND BEFORE DC!

:az: oh goodness...

I am looking to what Harper can offer this postseason... along with everyone else.
