The fate of Baltimore's season rests on the shoulders of... Joe Saunders. Just the way they drew it up, I'm certain.

I'm still convinced that Kyle Lohse is a fraud.  Dude has been an extremely mediocre pitcher his entire career, and he FINALLY gets it at the age of 33?  It's not like he became a gimmick pitcher like Dickey, either.

I'm guessing Buck has Saunders go out to the mound, throw a warm up pitch, point to his shoulder, and has him replaced by Steve Johnson.  Just to have Ron Washington burn all his pinch hitters in the first time through the order to try for the platoon advantage.  Then Buck goes back to Wei Yin Chen.

Joe Simpson, the Braves color man, the one who crossed out Strasburg and LaRoche when talking about CPoY, who shown himself to be a shameless Braves cheerleader, is doing color for this Braves-Cardinals playoff game.

Good work, if you can get it.

Saunders since joining the O's - 3.63 ERA, opposing hitters batting .283 off of him.  Stats are a bit skewed because of a 6ER outing in his first appearance, he's pitched pretty well since then.

Only a fool would give the opposing team a free runner in the playoffs via hbp retaliation.
