The Marlins just swept the D'Backs and now tonight they are down 7-1 early to the lowly Giants.

Beauty of baseball there.

Milledge and Pena both hit the ball hard.  Milledge's ball was caught.  Pena's was caught by a fan in the stands.  Hopefully this gets Weapons of Mass Production going.

Lopez hits too many balls in the air for a leadoff hitter

That's a pretty crazy 12-6 curve there.

Flop is a garbage lead off hitter.  That was a bad inning.  No patience at the plate.

bad pitch. Perez cannot leave pitches up in the zone like that.

He needs to get ahead of struggling hitters like Cameron or else that will happen. Come on, OP!

Having the stronger arms up the middle really helps. I'm always confident when Guzman is making the throw to first.

Another nice start for VanAllen in AA tonight: 6.1 IP 5 H 2 R 2 ER 2 BB 6 SO

He's now 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA in 4 starts since being promoted to Harrisburg.

I meant when one of our pitchers gets a DP. I hate it when one of our guys hit into a DP.

90% of his first pitches are fastballs down the middle. We need to swing at some of those.

Dmitri is hitting right into their defense.

Suppan is dominating us. This blows.

Dmitri is hitting right into their defense.

And most teams don't play him up the middle like that. I'm guessing they will now, though. :?
