You heard correctly. He ran down a deep fly to dead CF with a runner on and when the ball bounced off his glove he slammed his glove to the ground. The ball hit the fence and Willingham had to chase it down but it was too late to get the runner out at home. Cost the team a run.

WTF BENCH

One can be and will be replaced shortly. But what about the other? Especially when you figure that Olsen is not right.

Stammen stays because he can hit.

Anyone else think Dibble is about to throw up in humiliation over this game and having Palmer pimp his championship rings?

True but that's why I'm so sick of it. It's been like this pretty much for going on 6 years. It's freaking disgusting.

Even though I'm sort of against the Oswalt idea I'm almost sick enough of this crap to say go get him.

Lannan, Olsen, and Marquis all had injury issues. 3 guys down, how many teams have that many replacements waiting?

I'm not a big believer in Lannan to begin with. But my issue is that right now I'm disgusted beyond belief and the years of seeing bums on the mound are weighing on me.

big thing about bernie right there ... he was in a 1-for-12 slump before this game ... couple good at bats from him today.

oh yeah ... the way he's been playing he's definitely at worst a 4th outfielder.  good to see him play this well and prove losers like me wrong!
