Well I'm not watching tonight, but when I have watched I've seen him make all kinds of throws on difficult plays and he seems to make those with strength and confidence.  It doesn't look like a guy who's affected by pain.

His motion is all wrong.  I watched him closely Sunday vs the Orioles, and he was terrible in warmups trying all these funky motions.  He had an easy double play and shot putted the ball over Espinosa's reach into right field, not a Zimmerman throwing motion at all.  100% certain he's avoiding pain with his motion, there's nothing else going on.

That's twice a questionable ball call has led to a hit in the at-bat.

Nah... he looked miffed in the dugout as to why he was taken out.

So stupid. It is humid as crap outside, or at least it was earlier but he was showing no signs of fatigue from what I could tell.

Smoak who has been on him all night smoked another ball

cutting the "better man than i'll ever be" schtick ... it's amazing to see how he's progressed to the point where whenever he's on the bump i think we have a chance of winning.

That's the only way he can even find the plate.  No control. :?

He had an easy double play and shot putted the ball over Espinosa's reach into right field, not a Zimmerman throwing motion at all.

I saw that play and it's my assertion that proves my point.  That looked like a guy "steering" the ball instead of throwing it.  Classic indication that missing a target is in his head and not in his abdomen.

Didn't Zim learn in Little League that you don't run the guy towards the next base?  Throw the ball to the catcher almost immediately and have the runner coming back to 3rd.

(Wow!  It seems like I'm picking on Zim with 2 of my first 5ish posts.  For the record, I love Zim!)
He's smart enough to leave room to toss to Ramos should Ichiro have kept going, but he (Ichiro) assumed the throw and tried in vain to avoid the tag.

I would't have waited so long, but Zimm played it well.

I don't know how you can even discern that given Lannan's unchanging facial expressions.

:phew: Now score more runs.

Had Lannan stayed in and gave up the lead people would be nagging about Riggleman leaving him in too long.
