Last night I found a website/android app called Wolfgang's Vault, it has recordings of a ton of old concerts, some really great stuff.  The Stones with Mick Taylor were a different band, blazing guitar.  Listening to Steely Dan right now, can't wait to check out Neil Young, Priest, Janes Addiction, Sonic Youth, PFunk, The  Allman Brothers,  Floyd, The Who, Blind Faith, and a bunch of other bands.  I'm tempted to pay the $50 to get the HD sound.

The show is from May 20, 1974, in London.

I used the website last night on my laptop and it was fine, the app is buggy, no chance I'm paying for the HD unless they fix this thing.

I had tickets to their show at Nissan back in '95 or '96 and smoked so much beforehand I inexplicably gave my tickets away to a couple who had driven all the way from the Florida Keys hoping to be able to score tickets.  I don't think I even took any money.  Must have been been some bodacious herb.

The last time I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse (2003?) they were pretty terrible.  And not in the charming way that Crazy Horse is usually terrible, like it was obvious they didn't know what the freak they were doing.  Neil Young playing "Bandit" solo was really bad ass though.

That's the show I saw. Third row, center. My bro insisted we leave early so I missed rocking in the free world and then we couldn't find the car and we were the last ones out.

Hot snakes on. Fri. So excited.

Awesome!

Dear God, so many good bands. Devin Townsend, Killswitch, Refused, besides the obvious. How did Ugly Kid Joe get on there? This isn't the 1994 HFStival.

Steel Panther?  EDGUY!? :metal:

Fozzy?  :lmao:

Just bought tickets to see David Nail at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC in September - incredibly excited! Guy has the best voice in country music.

I saw that and thought about going but the last time I saw him (2004) it was beyond horrible.  I'd rather listen to Sportsfan and PC fight about who on the Nats should be DFA and executed than that crapshow.

I'll take my chances if it's free   Since Mr & Mrs Gutrocks in Topeka have been kind enough to foot the bill, might as well go take advantage.

There is a concert every Monday and Thursday at Ft. Reno park in DC.  Mostly local bands.  Family friendly, too.

Best concert I ever saw was P-Funk at the Warner Theater in the mid-90s.  Also saw them at least three other times, always a great show although some of the regular performers stopped touring with the band.

If you leave now, you may get there in time.

Best concert I ever saw was Metallica at Star Lake in 1994. It was the night before they played Woodstock. It was also my first show. The openers were Suicidal Tendencies and Fight! which was a Rob Halford project.

Metallica never disappoints, I saw them the next night at Woodstock.
