At least we cut the lead in half

You were saying?  That lasted one pitch.

Chico is a disgrace.. an absolute freaking disgrace.  Doesn't he know that Moises thrives on first pitch fastballs?  Schneider takes some blame as well.  His pitch selection is gross

Anyone thrives on THAT excuse for a pitch.

If Chico would like to freshen up in the minors, let him, because that seems like the right thing right now.  However, he deserves to stay if he wants to.

Mets are a first-place team.  Nats are in last.

This isn't that surprising.l

Chico has to go... Sorry, Matt but your season is finished.  We turn washed up veterans and scrub backups into walk machines and power hitters (Easley, Alou, Ruiz, etc, etc)

I love Chico, and he's probably my favorite pitcher, and third favorite Nat (Zimmerman, Flores).  However, he's sucked.

Chico has a reputation for being mentally tough.  They keep saying that he can shake off bad things that happen and not let it bother him.  I don't buy that.  He looks like he is a fog out there.  No emotion.  No expression.  I wish Schneider would just go out there and smack him to get him going.

Gonna be 4-1 soon, I think.

That's a pretty insurmountable lead with Glavine pitching.

We cut the lead and half and they increase it in the next half inning.

It's like our pitchers (Chico in particular) never learn from walking hitters.  It's the same old story game after game

Glavine is going to slice and dice us now.  He won't give anybody anything to hit.  This is going to be a sloooooow death from here on out.

looking forward to it.. Hopefully the Caps don't choke away the season like last year.  No excuse for not making the playoffs this year
