Well this sucks. I'm stuck with this crap Error 12 which won't allow me to connect to any server.

Digital. I posted on a blue post on the fourms so hopefully I get this resolved.

Had fun playing with cmd and his friends for a few hours, then started getting 3006 timeout errors in game and chat stopped working.  Seemed like everyone was still playing so I logged out and haven't been able to get back in for about half an hour.  D3 server status page shows all of the americas and europe down, but asia is up :smh:

Now even the status page is down and they're directing us to twitter for updates.

I say again, where the hell did all the money go if not servers to support the game?

Spoiler if you haven't finished act 1

Was anyone else sad when Declared Cain died?  :-(  I wish I would have stayed a while and listened.

Yeah that was something I was not expecting.

Act 1's ending was absolutely mind blowingly orgasmicly epic.

Barbarian rules!

Is it wrong to enjoy diversity?

I've played about 10 levels each of Barb and Wiz so far, and I enjoy both, but the Wizard is definitely more of a support class.  Lots of area spells that immobilize, repulse, or do AoE or DoT in a large area.  One wizard by himself is a little hit-and-run to play alone, but if you pair them they suddenly become engines of destruction.  One Wizard really doesn't have enough mana to finish off mobs by himself, but he can do a lot of total damage because most of the spells are AoE.  Add another Wizard and suddenly you're carpet bombing.  Plays really well with Demon Hunters too from what I've seen so far.  Run into the mob, Frost Nova, spam some AoEs and run back, with the Demon Hunter laying down supporting fire the entire time.

Granted these are just my impressions from my first few hours of play.  I'm basically a n00b since I never played D2.

That's just because I was a maroon and didn't bring any potions.  And then when I did I panicked and used one when I still had ~75% health
