Well, If we are going to lose....then we need to go out swinging (fists not bats).

we need to kick some ass and have a brawl. Not like the one earlier this year where the guy was charged and just tapped him on the head nor the one where the guy throws a ball towards the dug out, i mean a fist fight between everyone.

That's the spirit! I'm surprised you're actually advocating us retaliating for a chance.

I'm not totally opposed to retaliation when it's merited. This is one of those instances. Most of the retaliation for being shown up or showing lack of respect is weak and total bullcrap. But I understand it happens and is part of the game. This instance cannot be overlooked though. However, if they're going to do it they better do it right and see to it that some of their players get suspended as well to ruin their season and maybe even hurt someone in the process.

But shouldn't we try and understand why Utely was mad at us before flying off the deep end?  Maybe we should sit down in the dugout and ask what's bothering him?   ;)

Unfortunately...I agree with you. Manny won't do it. I've seen other situations where we probably should have thrown at someone, but we didn't.

Manny won't, but Laanan has some balls.  And Utley crowds the plate and turns into inside pitches like a wussy.

What a crappy ass game. And I thought the rest of the season was going to be fun....

Bring on the Skins, no matter how awful they are going to be.

Hey, if Dukes did that, you'd be perfectly okay with it.

Of course, the Phillies catcher would be dead, not injured.

I can hear booing, it's just not enough.  Gotta remember half this crowd is probably Philly fans.

I'm hoping Dukes gets on first, then gets to slide into second on a steal. Shoulder first.

Philly fans are probably excited over the injury. They are the lowest common denominator when it comes to sports fans.

that would require a team uprooting from where they are, moving to richmond, and then affiliating with the Nationals.

I say we hit either Ryan Howard b/c he's a fat f*ck a-hole or ruiz because he's there catcher.  Or Hamels b/c he's pwning us.
